Back from the country...

Frank and I headed to the "country", a.k.a. Demopolis, this past Sunday. We needed some Mimi and Poppie time! We had a great time visiting! Frank got a good dose of driving around the farm! Nana and Mom cooked an AMAZING dinner the night we got there. Nana had been cooking a roast with potatoes and carrots (both from her brother's garden!) all day. That night, she walked out to her garden and got okra to fry! MMMM! Mom whipped up her famous corn bread! Can we say, "WELCOME to the country!" Great food!

Mom and Nana treated me to a hair appointment on Monday :)
Mom and Dad took me out to dinner for my birthday (not for another 2 weeks) on Monday night while Nana watched Frank.
We headed home on Tuesday to surprise Daddy. We planned on staying until Wednesday, but my great-aunt is in the hospital in Tuscaloosa. Mom and Dad were headed up to see her on Tuesday evening.

Brad was so excited that we surprised him! We really missed him so much while we were there!

Now, we are thrilled that we have a couple of weeks of "down time" before we leave to go to Orange Beach with all of the Bedsole's!
